Pastel Jumpsuit
Hi Loves,
Hope you all had a great weekend. I’ve been super busy at work, but looking forward to a few trips this summer. Today I wanted to post about this pastel blue jumpsuit I wore while I was touring in Argentina. Btw, if you haven’t visited Buenos Aires – you should plan a trip this year. It’s amazing. I will write a travel post on it soon.
So back to the outfit, I got this jumpsuit from Gap while randomly walking around in a mall (one of my fav things to do :)). Since I am more hourglass shaped, I wasn’t quite sure if this would fit me well. However, the cut and fabric is quite good and loose, so it ended up looking quite cute and unique.
When buying jumpsuits I generally do not buy them online as it can be ill fitted. This particular one was quite loose at the top and at the bottom with the ends gathering at my ankle. The adjustable straps at the top made it easy to fit.
Since its a nice powder blue color, I din’t want to add too many colors to my outfit and wanted to keep the pastel theme going. I accessorized it with rose pink sandals and similar colored accessories. The bracelet I am wearing here is from Hawaii and so are the earrings. I love buying cute trinkets on trips. However, on the flip side I did style a similar colored dress when I visited LA and styled it with a flowery Kimono and silver jewellery. Take a look at my blogpost here.
I’ve kept the makeup minimal as I was traveling with light pink lips and some blush. I also braided my hair as I din’t have more dry shampoo to style them. haha.. long hair issues while traveling ;). But it did end up looking quite cute and kept me cool in the hot afternoon sun. I am carrying my super comfortable and cute bag from Fossil that I carry on most of my trips. It goes with all my summer outfits and looks cute.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
Love,
Ankita
