Mike’s Bike Tours – Amsterdam
It’s been a while since I got the time to write a travel post. So here it is – my review on Mike’s Bike Tours in Amsterdam. I visited the city about a month back and I had the chance to collab with the awesome Mike’s Bike Tours. They offer various tours including a city tour and a countryside tour. We opted for the city tour which was about 3 hours and started at 12 in the noon. It was very professional and well conducted and was a perfect introduction to Amsterdam. Scroll down below for more pictures and details.

We flew to Amsterdam from Berlin and after dropping off our luggage at our AirBnB, we were all set to explore the city. We took the tram from right outside our apartment (Amsterdam is extremely well connected by public transportation) which dropped us near the starting point of the tour. Once we reached the location, we had to check in and then we were divided into groups. Each group had their own tour guide and about 10 – 12 people. I was very excited when I got this beautiful peach bike (score :D).

Our guide was very professional and fun. The tour included biking through and looking at the major attractions in the city such as the Anne Frank House, The Red Light District, Vondelpark etc. You can read more about it on their website. Our guide took us through the various lanes and over the canals and told us about the history of the city, the various buildings and a number of major attractions. It was very helpful to get a brief insight into the city before we head out to explore it ourselves.

At the end of the tour, we stopped by for a beer at this awesome pub. This gave us a chance to interact with the group and make some new friends. Overall, this was a great tour. I would highly recommend you take this bike tour while visiting Amsterdam.

Honestly, I was a bit scared to bike in the city since I had read online that the local bikers were quite aggressive. However, it wasn’t bad at all and I really enjoyed myself. The pace of the tour is perfect and the guide waits for you at every point if you’re behind. Here are some more pictures we took during the tour.

Cheers and have a great day. Thank you for stopping by and let me know if you have any questions π
Love,
